Not of fan of writing these bios....I'd rather just talk over coffee and hang out.

I'm not going to tell you how I've always loved photography, or I love capturing your memories for you. I hate cliches and triteness. Truth is, I got into photography because it looked cool and I wanted to take better pictures...for myself. Creativity has never been something that I would consider a skill of mine, but this adds to the intrigue and challenge for me. I like the technical side just as much, or more, than the creative side. I like to know why things work like they do.

It's not romantic or inspiring, but it's my own reason and I'd rather have my own than someone else's.

I'm still figuring it out what I'm doing with my life and what direction I'm going, but while I do that, here's a few facts about me:

Raised on a Kansas dairy farm.
Catholic.
Went to the University of Kansas. Got a piece of paper.
Had some ideas.
Traveled.
Changed some ideas.
Moved to Australia.
Made awesome friends.
Moved back to Kansas.
Finally made enough money to buy a nice camera.
Found photography was a really great form of therapy.
...and a whole lot in between and a whole lot since.
